Mommy and Daddy's Vacation to Jamaica!

Mommy and Daddy went on a long vacation to Jamaica-so I decided to let Mommy tell what these pictures are about. Dan and I had a great time in Jamaica while Aidan and Liam spent a week on the farm. We went up into the hills one day for some activities which were a lot of fun.
Our pictures are out of order-but here's our welcome home-Liam was so happy to see Dan but mad at me and called Dan "mama" for 24 hours until he decided I was okay again. We all have had to go everywhere together now since home, I hope work and daycare are okay this week. I know the boys had fun on the farm, but it was hard to be gone 7 days.
Dan went down a waterslide when we went on a tour of Jamaica. I wasn't brave enough to be soaking wet the rest of the day.
We went on the Jamaican bobsled-super fast and kind of scary.
We were suprised when we got into the hills how it kind of seemed like a rainforest, where by the beach and houses it was pretty dry.
Our resort was so nice and it was totally worth it for all inclusive. We got to dress up and have nice dinners every night.
We went on a zipline tour. My legs were shaking for 3 of the 5 but it got easier and I was able to enjoy the view. One of the lines was a straight vertical drop-I think I screamed on that one.
Another dinner out and another rum drink.
The resort had a small private island not far away by boat so we spent a few days sunbathing and relaxing there. The water was so clear and blue-just beautiful to relax in.

Dan's eyes were closed, but it was the best picture I got of the cabana we got one day. It was so relaxing to have a nice spot out of the sun to sit in when we needed a break, and came with a butler to bring us drinks too-very nice!
Since we haven't been on vacation in such a long time I wasn't really wanting to meet people, but one night at the bar on the resort, we met a couple from Scotland and their accent was so amazing we talked to them all night. Dan got the guy to yell "Freedom" like Mel Gibson in Braveheart-it was so funny. They of course thought Mel Gibson's accent was not believable but were very nice to us and entertaining to talk to.
Here's a sunset view off our balcony.
I convinced Dan we should get a couples massage on the beach. It was so nice and relaxing-his first massage!
This was our first day by the beach. It was really so much fun.
The resort upgraded our room to a bigger room with a better ocean view-it was a nice suprise and a very nice week away.
Here's Dan checking out the stocked bar in our room. That was also great-more options than at home!
One of our dinners out was to a Tai restaurant on the island. It was suprisingly good food and a nice evening of course.
We can't wait for another vacation-probably in 4 more years, but sure enjoyed this one. And we are so thankful for our great babysitters-aka grandma and grandpa-who took such good care of the boys. I think we need to get a cow for our house now cause Liam can't get enough of the cows, and Grandpa apparently taught Aidan that all black cows are not bulls-so he knows more than mommy ever did about cows!
