Wow, have we been having fun the past few weekends. First with Easter, Liam finally got to get back to the farm and see his "bampa" and "tows"-his grandpa and cows. He fell in love with the farm while Mommy and Daddy were on vacation this winter and it's been too long since we were back.
Grandpa asked Liam and I why we didn't bring our shovels down to help feed the cows. I think he might forget sometimes we're still kind of small even though I'm almost 5 and Liam's 1. I know we are super helpful all the time so I suppose we should help farm, not just watch, but I enjoy watching and asking questions.
Liam enjoyed watching all the cows all the time. Daddy was glad there was a hood to keep Liam from walking right into the pasture. He doesn't realize the cow's are bigger than him and would love just to cuddle right up to them.
I also helped Grandpa with a lot of field work. I told Mommy the night after all this work that I sure had a busy day with farming, 2 Easter egg hunts, and farming again. She had no idea how much work Grandpa and I did!
Look who else was back-Reid! And look who he loved-Mugsy! He even pet her so hard it looked like she got a doggy facelift! Thank goodness we have such a nice doggy and she lets us kids play all over her! Good girl Mugsy!
See here was one of those Easter Egg hunts I was talking about! Grandpa John even came to help me out and he sure was good at finding all the spots no other kids were looking. I got so many eggs! It was awesome! Liam even got some although he thought they were all balls.
Aunt Lauren helped me at the egg hunt too, since Reid needed a nap and wasn't ready to hunt for eggs like Liam and I did.
Here Liam is Easter Sunday in his cute little vest and tie. He couldn't even leave his blankie from the party.
Second Easter egg hunt! Look at all my eggs!!! And how cute am I in my vest and tie?
Uncle Juergen even let us sit on his tractor at the Easter party. Liam really didn't want my help here but how cute are we!
Last weekend we were back to the farm again cause Mommy had 2 of my aunts baby showers to go to. It was great timing too cause Grandpa Kevin had just gotten baby chickens. Reid had never seen a baby chicken yet-he was pretty excited! I think he'll be a farmer like Liam and I when he's bigger.
I even helped hold a baby chicken and Grandpa taught me how to feed them. I was so excited and can't even smile without a super huge smile on the farm!
I took Liam down to see the baby cows too. He just loves cows so much and wants to see them all up close. I am very good at helping Liam learn about the baby cows.
Liam and Reid shared a banana at Grandma's. Mommy thinks it's funny that Liam was Reid's size last year. They just might be trouble when they're a little older, but they sure look innocent now!
I am a super good wrestler and tackler. Grandpa didn't even guess I was going to jump right up on him so he was sure suprised! We sure love visiting the farm and all our Grandpa and Grandma's. Mommy's going to work on getting pictures of all of them more often so it's not just us here but I told her of course Liam, Reid and I are kind of the cutest kids!
