The Other Aiden and Me.

I went to visit my friend Aiden. You might remember our mommies work together, our names are pretty much the same, and we're almost the same age. We had fun sharing toys and cups and walking with his walker.
I brought him a present. It was just like one of my favorite toys-this noisy popper. He seemed to like it a lot. I also played with his kitty's toys.
We played all over, even in the kitchen. We got to look in the drawers and the fridge.
Look at his kitty! It was so soft and furry. We both petted it but then it decided to be alone downstairs.
Before I left we played with his carseat. I remember having one like this. Pretty soon this Aiden will have a big boy carseat like me. Our mommys are hoping we will be able to visit each other once in a while after we move, I hope so too!

Fun Stuff

Look at the cute new baby friend I met yesterday! His name is Jay Ryan. I think in about a year we will have lots of fun playing. Yesterday I had fun ramming his basinett against the floor and chewing on his nose sucker. Mommy allowed both because, 1. he wasn't in the basinett at the time and 2. the nose sucker was not used yet.
We found out I love cool whip. It's yummy and fun to smear around. Grandma says I'm probably going to love finger painting when I'm older.
Look at this mess! I had so much fun.
I have been enjoying sticking my tongue out at mommy this week. It's funniest when Mugsy comes by and licks my face.

Vacation to Bearskin Lodge

Last weekend I went on vacation to Bearskin Lodge way up in Northern Minnesota. So many people came along for the fun. I know I look a little sloppy in this picture but Uncle Matt and Britta didn't mind me relaxing after a nap.
Uncle Andy and Krystal were there too. They had fun fishing and canoeing. I didn't get to go along for those things but spent a lot of my time playing in the cabin.
Grandpa and Grandma went on some hikes with me. They were so nice and let me stop and touch all the different trees, leaves, and rocks. I really enjoyed all the nature.
Aunt Lauren and Uncle Justin helped plan our vacation and get us organized. We tried all weekend to see a bear but this is the closest we got.
Grandpa and Grandma Huneke were so nice to let us borrow their big van. I was very cozy in my big boy seat with my blanky and pillow. The most exciting part of the long drive was that we saw a moose on our way up. We were pretty glad it got out of the road quickly so we didn't hit it.
On our way up we stopped at Gooseberry Falls. Here mommy, daddy, and I are enjoying the pretty view.
The first day was pretty chilly. Luckily I have this nice new warm coat so I stayed comfy.
Our cabins were on East Lake Bearskin. Mommy said the trees were 100% pretty when we were up there. I had to agree, it was very pretty outside.
We took one long hike through the woods. I had this new backpack to ride in so mommy and daddy's arms wouldn't get tired.
By the end of the walk mommy moved me to the back. She said it was easier to walk and I didn't mind, it sure was cozy. We were a little disappointed to find out our very long hike was only about 4 miles. It sure felt like much more!
