Visit to Santa.

Look at who Liam and I saw this weekend! Santa and Mrs. Claus! I was so excited to tell Santa I wanted Spiderman toys and shiny boots and then was such a good boy sitting on his lap for our picture. Look who was not such a good boy-Liam! Can you believe he didn't want to visit with Santa or Mrs. Claus? Mommy and Daddy said they definately got the traditional Santa picture out of us this year. I'm so glad I sat so nice. I know Santa's watching all the time so have been on my best behavior. Liam needs to work on that!

Don't Go Snow!

Daddy helped me and my friend Rowan make a snowman friend before the snow all melted this weekend. He was a happy snowman and we had lots of fun building him.
I gave our snowman a big hug before we built a snow dog. When we were done building, we smashed our snowman and snow dog up, now today the only snow left in the neighborhood is one big round snowball.

When we were done, we both had to recover with some good hot chocolate to warm up and get more energy for playing. It was a fun day to have a friend over to play.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! You can call me Spiderman-yes I will not answer to Aidan and will yell at you because I told Mommy I changed my name. Liam will still answer to Liam or baby Spiderman even though he was dressed as a giraffe-the cutest giraffe ever Mommy said.
See? Super cute!

Look at our pumpkins! Can you believe Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Madonna did almost all the work? I came up with the triangle design, but did not do any of the actual carving. It's yucky. Liam tested the taste of the pumpkin and seemed to like it. He's an adventerous eater.

Guess who suprised us-Kelly and Grandma Ellen! They came and scared Daddy in their costumes. How fun that they drove down to see us on Halloween! They were scared of me too as the super hero Spiderman!

Grandma Madonna came to visit us this weekend and play so Mommy and Daddy could get stuff done here and go out for dinner. Grandma is good at playing whatever I want. I told her and Liam that it was time to eat so they both sat right down. Liam was very good at pretend eating and didn't even get mad that the pretty beads weren't yummy.

See what else Liam's learning-to climb way up high! He is a daredevil and will figure out how to get on top of any table or furniture we have. Then he's very proud of himself. What a silly boy!

Fun at the Farm.

Last weekend we went to visit our Grandpa and Grandma's farms. Liam was so happy to stroll along with Grandpa Kevin and Grandma Madonna on such a nice fall day.
Grandpa helped Liam get way up on the bale with me. I was throwing apples from way up here for Daddy to try to hit with a bat-apple ball as Daddy calls it. We were very proud to be up so high.

We also went to see Grandma Ellen and Grandpa John. Grandma Ellen likes acting silly just like me. We could be twins.

Grandma John took me on a tractor ride to do some round bales. I had not gotten to do that before so I was very excited.

Grandma Madonna and I made a big leaf pile and did some jumping into it. We were having lots of fun.

I also did some combining with Grandpa Kevin-both beans and corn! We had to watch very careful to make sure we filled the wagon just right. I learned all about combining.

I packed a bag of snacks for us and we spent the whole afternoon working hard.

Look who else came to visit the farm-baby Reid! We just love seeing him and seeing how much he's growing and doing. He can make lots of baby noises and also smiles at us a lot too.

Did you know I love making funny faces? And guess what I'm going to be for Halloween? Spiderman! I actually have worn this every day and am having Mommy and Daddy call me Spiderman. It's the best!

A Few Fun Weekends.

Today we decided to find a pumpkin patch to get our Halloween pumpkins. Mommy and Daddy called it "an adventure" because they drove around forever trying to find a patch they took me to when we were first living here. Turns out, we couldn't find it, but there was one closer to our house that we didn't realize. Here we are after picking all our pumpkins and back at the farm.
It was a really fun time. We got a wagon tractor ride out to the patch. The farmer was all out of haybales for us to ride on, but it didn't bother me. I was so excited to do this and can't wait to tell my Grandpas.

Liam also loved the tractor ride, but wouldn't keep his farmer hat on so didn't like the sun too much. He likes rides on things though and was very excited to see where we were going.

Liam had a hard time deciding on his pumpkin. He didn't like all the vines he tripped on and was not too happy about the "adventure" we took to get there, so he was most happy being held by Daddy while we looked at pumpkins.

Look at all these options. I found so many wonderful pumpkins. Mommy drew the line at picking 6, even though I had 3 more picked out that were conveniently by the tractor. I told her I wanted to take those 3 to Grandma's to harvest-which Mommy thinks is my way of describing carving a pumpkin. Grandma will have to supply her own pumpkins though, I had to leave those last 3 behind.

Here's just a super cute picture of me from the past week. I actually smiled nice when Mommy had the camera out. Do you see the lego car I made myself?

Liam was not able to smile that day. He was too comfy relaxing and drinking his bottle. It's hard to put down his bottle.

A while back I decided to invite some friends over to my house when it was my birthday. Mommy said she was not ready to have a friend bday party for a 4 year old, but as I told Mommy "they're so excited to come." Mommy was left with no choice so last weekend my daycare friend Lela and her little sister who is Liam's friend, Jonnelyn, came over to play and have a little party with me. We all clapped after I blew out my candles and sang happy birthday. This was my batman cake (3rd cake for being 4). Mommy said we're going to have to stick with one cake per birthday from now on. We'll see.

I also asked for a pinata for me and my friend since I had so much fun last time. Lela and I smashed all the treats out of it. We also had lots of fun playing on my swings and with all my toys. She is a nice friend of mine.

Mommy found Liam and Jonnelyn just sitting in the grass talking baby talk. They were pretty cute visiting about baby things. It was a very fun day for all of us.

Happy Birthday 4 Year Old Aidan!!!

Look who's 4 today!!! Aidan!!! I chose my Beauty and the Beast cake all by myself-it's a good movie you know. I put all the candles on myself too-lots of blue ones. I started my day with walking into daycare announcing "Birthday Boy." I was ready for all the attention I deserve today with my special day!
Look at how hard I tried to blow out all the candles! It took a while, but I got them out, even without too much spit!

It took a while for Liam to smile-he wanted to touch the candles, but then I think he remembered after the picture is eating the cake-his favorite part! He was very excited to have it be my birthday today too! He loves a party!

Daddy wore the best shirt he has for my birthday-I told Mommy I want one too! Daddy even ordered me a pizza for my birthday dinner! It was so yummy. I got a lot of birthday phone calls too tonight with lots more Happy Birthday wishes-what a great day and I'm so glad to be 4!

We Love Fall!

We visited the apple orchard this weekend! Liam and I love apples and we picked the most yummy ones we could see. I even found this big bin already full of apples and told Mommy we needed a picture by it. How cute!
I practically picked this many apples, and taste tested half of them. Mommy said I couldn't take just 4 bites and throw it away but there were so many apples all around it seemed okay to me.

The apple orchard man had wagons for our Daddy to give us a ride in. It was a good idea, cause after picking all the apples Liam and I needed a rest to enjoy our snack.

Daddy told me to find the big apples so I would grab them and put them in our apple bag. It was so fun!

Liam was just loving the apples! He wasn't feeling good this weekend but really liked being outside and eating this treat with Daddy.

He sure loved his apple!

Daddy lifted me way way up high to reach a really big yummy green apple on this tree. I was very proud and said Hi to my neighbor Makenna who was also picking apples with her family. They were all impressed by me!

Mommy had fun teaching Liam how to grab the apples to pick. He doesn't remember coming here last year cause he was just a tiny baby in the stroller. This year was much more fun!

Here's Liam showing off how he's learning to be a daredevil. Mommy tells me I used to do silly stuff like this too. Liam will even bounce his legs when he's standing on his horse and doesn't even fall off!

Daddy and I were relaxing in the morning watching a show. Sometime we are really best buds, but sometimes not. Mommy was happy to get a picture of one of those best bud times.

Last weekend Grandma Madonna came to play with us so Liam showed her how he's becoming a farmer like Grandpa is. He thought he'd put his most important thing in his wagon-his bottle. What a smart farmer!

Grandma came to play so Mommy and Daddy could stain our deck and fix the fence and playset. I got to help Daddy stain the fence that was fixed. I told Mommy I couldn't smile because I had to concentrate. Work is serious business.

Liam was enjoying the sun last weekend and showed Grandma how good he is at playing catch. He loves throwing all the different kinds of balls we have at home.

He also loves climbing up and down stairs so spent some time on the deck before Mommy and Daddy blocked him out so they could fix it up. Can you see how much Liam looks like me! Mommy can sure tell in this one. If he didn't have his red hair, she'd probably forget who was who!

Lots of Pictures!

This last weekend we had a birthday party for Liam and Aidan. Liam found his love of cake-or at least frosting! He couldn't get enough!
Cousin Reid was a good boy during the party, but I think he thought Mommy should forget the picture-he was ready to go home by the afternoon. He did give us some good smiles too though, not for the camera.

Liam did not find it fun waiting for Grandpa John to light the candles. He was ready for cake right away.

I picked out Liam and my cake-John Deere tractor cupcake cake this year. Last year I had red tractors like Grandpa Kevin likes-this year green like Grandpa John likes.

Liam was excited to see all my presents and his too. He is starting to like farming like I do so checked out my new hay wagon.

I got this great new bulldog hat from Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Tanya. Liam loves this too. We both got such nice presents-farming toys (red and green), little tractors and baby cars, and new Star Wars shirts for us both and jammies for Liam. We are very lucky little boys.

Baby Reid is learning to hold hands so I helped him practice with Grandpa Kevin.

Grandma Madonna brought me a pinata. Yes Daddy and I used our light sabers to break it down-then Justin told me to stomp on it when it was on the ground. Can you belive I didn't hesitate?

What a great pinata! It went perfect with my farm cake.

I found a new fun thing-tatoos! Here is my first tatoo-Star Wars. Could I look any tougher? No one messes with me at daycare!

A couple weeks ago we were back in MN to see my family-here's baby Reid enjoying a stroller ride on the farm.

Liam and I loves visiting the farm. Grandpa Kevin and Grandma Madonna always love to see us too.

Liam and I cuddled on the hammock and a comfy blanket. Liam was not quite as into cuddling as I was.

Both my Uncle Andy and Uncle Matt were back in MN too. Here all us nephews of theirs got together for a picture. Baby Reid was not as excited as Liam and I, but he is pretty little yet!

Aunt Krystal came with Uncle Andy from AZ to see us and be in their friend's wedding. They were happy to see us and we were happy to see them too!

They brought me this awesome square baler for my farm. What a great present! Andy was a good farmer when he was little too so knows all the good stuff a farmer needs.

Andy and Krystal hadn't seen Liam in a while and couldn't believe how big he got.

Mommy decided to paint our kitchen a few weeks ago-Daddy practiced first. I know what this says!

One more summer fun thing-sweet corn! We sure love it and I'm getting to be really good at eating it-just like Mommy does.

Liam had his first sweet corn this summer too-of course he loved it like he loves everything! What a fun summer we had!
