Happy 3rd Birthday Aidan and Little Brother Liam is 2months Old!

Daddy likes showing Liam some of the fun things he did when I was a baby too. Liam wasn't really enjoying this too much, but Daddy did.
Mommy and I like to cuddle on the weekends. This last weekend we were a little lazy, but it was fun to relax in our jammies.

Liam is getting bigger and stronger every day. I help him play when he's on his tummy.
Look at our little 2 month old baby Liam! Mommy doesn't think I was this big until I was a year old. Apparently Liam is a better eater than I was.
Liam learned to laugh yesterday! Now when he's super smiley at me and Daddy, we can get him to giggle too! He thinks we're so funny, luckily we really are very funny people!
Today I turned 3 years old! Mommy got me a cupcake cake because cupcakes are my favorite. She and Liam helped me blow out my candles. There was just going to be 3 candles, but I decided each part of the trees needed one so I think there were 12.

Mommy did not blow out the candles in the order I wanted. Daddy thinks this is the funniest birthday picture he's ever seen. It would have been fine if Mommy just let me do what I want!

Daddy and I were so hungry for cupcakes we could hardly wait. When Mommy and Daddy sang "Happy Birthday" I screamed no don't sing. It could have been cause I wanted a cupcake so bad, or because Mommy and Daddy aren't great singers. It's hard to say. What a fun birthday for me! I'm so happy to be 3!

Our Smiley Little Liam!

Liam has been working really hard on smiles this week and he's getting really good at it. He even tries to make coo sounds and laugh! Look at his really big smile.
Here's Liam's more shy smile. He just tries to look as adorable as possible and it works. Mommy and Daddy love cuddling him and talking to him.
Daddy wanted everyone to see all Liam's little hairs that are growing back. He was born with a good amount of hair, but most of it fell out and he looked like an old man according to Daddy. Apparently when I was a baby my hair looked like an old man's receding hairline, but I was never bald. Luckily for Liam, it's growing back at record speed and he'll soon be getting haircuts with me!
Here's another one of Liam's big smiles! When we ride in the car he and I smile and talk to each other in the back. He's such a good little brother and so lucky to have me, Aidan, as his big brother!

Fun weekend in WI.

Mommy's been trying-here's a little smile from Liam. He's got my strategy down when cameras come out-don't smile when they tell you to. We're having lots of fun at home making Liam smile and make his baby noises. He likes to talk to us.

We all went to an apple orchard this weekend. Daddy helped me reach the high apples so we could pick the biggest ones. There were lots of trees to choose from.

The trees had so many apples on them, I could even reach some big ones from the bottom. I got really good at finding the best apples.

Daddy carried the heavy bag we put the apples in so I'd hand them to him after I picked them. I could even see a field nearby and some tractors too.

Mommy even put Liam in his stroller so she could find some good ones too. They were the yummiest apples, I don't know if Daddy and I will let Mommy buy any at the store again. We'll have to come here more often.
After we finished picking apples, we stopped for a rest and got some pumpkins. Mommy needs to get a picture of the one I chose-it had the most bumps on it. Mommy doesn't think it's the nicest looking pumpkin but Daddy and I likes it the most.

Mugsy was really happy when we got home. She had to sniff our apples and pumpkins to make sure we got good stuff. I tried to give her lots of hugs, but she kept trying to run away! Sometimes when I try to play with her, she doesn't want to and I just have no idea why. We're really good buddies!

More fun at the Huneke's.

Daddy and my favorite time of year is here! Tractor's in the field season! We wait all winter long for the tractor to come and plant in the field behind our house, then we watch what grows, and wait for fall to come for the tractor to come back again. I love sitting outside and watching the tractor come. If you can believe it, we are the only people in the neighborhood who sit and do this. I suppose most people don't realize the fun.
Since I've been so busy using the potty chair and since Lydia and Brennan gave me awesome Toy Story underwear, it's hard to take the time to put pants on all day. Daddy thinks Mommy should make sure I'm dressed with pants when I'm outside but she says I'm only almost 3 and no one will mind. Plus I have to hurry when the tractor's coming.
Liam is getting bigger! Pretty soon he'll be ready to come to daycare with me. He still takes more naps than me, but he'll sleep anywhere. Mommy loves to hold him and he holds on tight to her too.
Mommy wanted to show off how nice she and Daddy made Liam's room since we've shown mine off too. Liam loves to lay on his changing table and look at the pictures on the wall. He smiles at the lion with the soccer ball every time!
Liam's crib is the same one I had! I even let Daddy move Dugen up to stay in his room since mine was getting crowded. We thank Uncle Jonathan every day for giving us this big stuffed dog. You can never have too many extra large stuffed animals, at least according to me and Daddy.
Last night I helped Mommy give Liam his bath. He's too little for my big tub and we have to be really careful when we rub the shampoo in his hair. Mommy says I used to have baths like this but I tell her I'm not a baby-I'm a big boy.
Mommy didn't catch it on camera yet, but Liam loves to smile at us when we talk to him. He makes lots of little baby noises to get our attention and then gives us big smiles! Good thing I'm such a smiley boy so he can learn from me!

Liam's Baptism and Aidan's Birthday Parties.

Since we still can't put words right by the pictures, this won't be nearly as entertaining as I used to be narrating them. This weekend we had so much fun. Mommy and Daddy decided to celebrate not only Liam being baptised, but me turning 3 (which really happens on the 29th)! I've waited all weekend for yesterday when it was finally cake and present time. I tried to persuade Mommy that maybe I could just lick a little of the cake before the party started, but she said people wouldn't like that. I'm not sure why, I think anyone would want to lick the cake as soon as they saw it. Liam had a very nice baptism at our church but he sure did cry when Pastor put the water on his head. Two of his Godfathers were able to come-Uncle Nick and Uncle Matt, Uncle Andy wasn't able to come from AZ but did send a nice card for Liam and a great present for me. Liam's Godmother is our very dear friend Jes, who was the amazing person who took care of Liam until he was big enough to come to our house. We love getting together with Jes and her family. I have so much fun with Lydia and Brennan. They came a day early and we got to swim at their hotel. I swam for the first time in a big pool! All of my grandpas and grandmas also came for the day and my other Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We enjoyed me chocolate tractor cake, just what I requested. My Toy Story plates we used for the party were 3D so Mommy got a few glasses for us to try. Daddy and Jes weren't too impressed with the amazing 3D. Uncle Justin got really tired with all the celebrating. We were suprised we didn't see Matt sleeping on the couch, but Justin this year. After everyone left, Mommy and Liam were pretty tired too so they spent some nice time cuddling. Uncle Andy and Aunt Krystal sent me some Cars stickers for my room so we put those up this morning too. It was such a fun weekend!

Fun at Home.

We've been having fun at home. Mugsy let Liam and I rest with her one day. I'm working on becoming a rock star, maybe thinking of getting a band together at daycare, we'll see. We went to see Great Grandpa Fred and Great Grandma Kate this past week and Liam got to meet Daddy's cousin Amanda's little girl, Brook, who is just 2 days younger than him. Great Grandma Kate had her arms full with those two. Liam is already 1 month old and he's making more baby noises at Mommy, Daddy, and me. He makes me laugh a lot. I've been working on helping him with his bottles and he's been watching how I play with my tractors and cars so he knows what to do when he gets bigger. It's pretty fun having a little brother here.
