My Day at the Zoo!

Grandma came to my house this weekend so Mommy and Daddy could stain our fence. The weatherman was pretty wrong, so it was too cold and rainy to stain the fence. Daddy thought of a great way to spend the day instead-we went to the zoo in Madison. Grandma even came along!
Can you see behind me? The lions are here! I also saw monkeys, a tiger, seals, penguins, bears, buffalo, giraffes and more!

Mommy and Daddy showed me all the neat animals and told me what they like to do. We went to a zoo once when we lived in Fargo but I was pretty little then.
I think this was my favorite animal-the giraffes. There was a note from the zookeeper that the giraffes were bugging each other so they had to stay inside for the day.

Daddy was telling me all about the bears. I knew right away what they say-grrr.

This was our best animal picture. This is the brown bear just like in my favorite book.

Before we left for the day I got to go on the carousel ride. I rode probably 5 times before I left kicking and screaming. Mommy and Grandma heard some other sad kids leaving too. Hard to believe after so much fun seeing all the animals that's how I left. Luckily in the car we stopped for ice cream and watched my tractor movie.
